Jose Mourinho says he feels out of location in contemporary football

The 52-year-old can be a divisive figure within the sport buy fifa 16 ultimate team coins and was punished by the Football Association immediately after criticising the choices of referee Robert Madley in the wake of Chelsea's 3-1 loss at dwelling to Southampton earlier this month.

Mourinho is no stranger to incurring the displeasure of the authorities, but what has come as an unpleasant surprise to the Portuguese is his team's poor form so far this season.

The former Porto, Inter and Actual Madrid coach is arguably enduring the worst period of his glittering career to date.

And he has now claimed he feels that he no longer belongs in the football globe, though he is happy to continue receiving the 'affection' of players and fans.

"I feel plenty of affection, greater than I could picture. I feel affection from my players, a lot of individuals in the street. I have a great deal of affection," Mourinho told The Irish Times.

"It's the football planet which is altering. I feel that I'm a strange case because my world is football. I like it, I like my job. This really is the job I always wanted and I dedicate myself to it.

"But I never belong, I don't belong to what Desmond Morris referred to as a lot of years ago 'The Tribe of Football' (sic)," he stated, referring to 1981 book The Soccer Tribe.

"I belong to the tribe within the Desmond Morris concept in the tribe of football, but inside the contemporary notion of the tribe of football, I never belong.

"I reside within a distinct planet. I am not together with the energy. I'm a lonely guy within this contemporary planet of football. I do my operate. I am not a politician, I am not a PR, I don't care what folks believe about me. I don't, you realize, I'm just [am] what I am.

"When I'm within a wonderful moment it looks like nothing's occurred; when I'm in a negative moment, I pay for this a bit bit. I do not have a lot of close friends in the football world."

The Belgium international was among the stars of the Premier League in 2014-15, but has been unable to replicate that type this campaign.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho dropped Hazard in the starting XI for his side's 2-0 win more than Aston Villa on Saturday and Neville expects better from the talented 24-year-old.

"I've got no sympathy for Hazard," he mentioned on Sky Sports.

"I anticipate far more of him. The level he got to last season, you began to view a fantastic player.

"Hazard, there was talk last season of him finding into that Messi, Ronaldo bracket. Needless to say they've off periods but even in the off periods they nevertheless contribute, they score ambitions. You saw Ronaldo breaking the record in the weekend and what Messi's done.

"Hazard's got to pull himself out of it. I've got no sympathy for the incredibly top rated players with all the best talent, the most effective skill, they truly have got almost everything at their feet and I'd expect them not only to go and be Player from the Year this year, I'd anticipate them to take it forward and get self-assurance from that and go and score 30 goals subsequent season, be the ideal player within the league once again and dominate and dominate.

"He hasn't completed that at the start off of this season and he needs to pull himself out of it. Each and every player goes by way of a challenging patch but he's got to do it promptly because that's what the most beneficial players do, they come out of those patches extremely immediately."

Hazard has produced 12 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions so far this term, but has however to seek out the back of net.

The following opportunity to break his drought could come in a Champions League match away to Dynamo Kiev on Tuesday.
